[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today a posting of a bird that is often seen on TN,the red-backed shrike (in this case a male),however this was my first meeting with this colorfull bird with photo possibilities,on todays walk in Alhagen,I noticed this bird chasing insects,after a few succesfull attempts he landed on a stick not that far from me,I used my 300mm f.2.8 and 1.4 x teleconverter with this capture,picture is cropped,sharpened and resized before upload,hope you like it and tfw

This is a fine capture....You have some very fine kit now and are using it to its full potential..Lovely sharp details set against a sumptuous background..Very well spotted and captured..Its always a thrill when you find a new bird and are able to pull of a great picture like this.

Hello Paul,
If it weren't for the slight softness corrected in the WS this would be a perfect image of a fine subject.
As it is the POV, pose, composition and OOF natural BG make this capture of a male Red-backed Shrike excellent.

me voila bien!cet oiseau etait mon sujet pour aujourd'hui,il me semble que c'est une de premiere fois qu'il est publier.

Erg mooie opname, maar de scherpte mis ik een beetje. Fraai gecorrigeerd door Laurent. Verder is alles aan deze foto prachtig. En zo mooi dichtbij. Ik hoop hem ook nog eens tegen te komen.
