Hi Ivan,

What a wonderful trip you must have had with your son! Your pictures are terrific souveniers. Not sure I have seen this bird before but it's beautiful. The details of the face, eye, plummage and wings are superb. Beautiful colors - I love the white feathers surrounding his face. Lovely background and composition.

Very clear shot with simply composition. BG looks smooth and bird is perfectly visible on it. Detailed and sharp, with nice colours. I like small bonus - lichens on FG.

Hi Ivan. Very unusaul markings on the head which you have captured so well with good detail.It looks a short little bird maybe to keep out of the cold winds. good use of the late light. TFS. with interesting notes..

Well, this species was recorded in Turkiye as accidental visitor. I have never seen it. You capture it with great shot in usual Argus quality. Especially eyes contact and fantastic colored BG excellent. Sharpness and focus also wonderful. Roosting site with lichened surface great for composition. Colors on both of bird and surface splendid. Nature has endowed this Bunting with beautiful colours on its head, Ivan.
The slanting sun of the region bathes the bird in a golden glow.
The posture of the bird offers full view of its plumage and that wonderful bold stroke of colours on the head and neck.
Your hand-held shots are as good as the ones taken with a tripod.

The POV shows off those distinctive head markings perfectly, and in contrast to its mottled backside coloration..

This is such a lovely sight. A beautiful display of colour and detail on one image. There are a lot of details on this beautiful bird to observe and admire. One of it being the prominent markings on its face. The pattern on the face particularly strongly reminds me of the patterns on some country’s national flag. Now don't ask me which country. I don’t know and I don’t think that country exists. Composition, focus and sharpness are great and very pleasing to the eye. The gravel surface highlights the detail and colour of the bird well and brings out the beauty of the feathers. Kind regards and thanks for sharing.

This bird is for me both: not very colourful (as there are mainly brown tones) and a very colourful species (because of small details in white and yellow :>).
Very nice presentation of interesting species, with good DOF and details and very inforative note :)
