| This picture was taken at Grönklitt Björneparken. The bear-park at Orsa is not a zoo, it's a breeding station for brown bears (Ursus arctos). In 1994 one of the bears had 5 children. I watched the family from a bridge over the fence. Suddenly the mother lay down on her back and the five little bears began to drink. Unfortunately you cannot hear the sounds the drinking bears and the lactating mother make. When the bears are grown up they bring them back to wilderness. If you are in Dalarna it's worth a visit. |

Wonderful shot, Roland. I did not know that a mama bear can have so many cubs. Isn't that rather unusual. Great family scene. Well done and TFS. : )
