I took this Mallard this morning, especially for Gerhard who never has seen snow in real life

He have snow on the body and the head.

He was very close so I missed a bit of the right wing.

That's a great flying Mallard, I love it good details...
Straight in my favorites.
Well done

very beautiful detail of the duck, to take a bird in flight is always difficult a pity that one doesn't see the end of the wing right, beautiful cleanness and contrast, great shot Gert, well done

Thank for this one Gert, I appreciate it. The snow flakes on the back adds a nice touch. Tack sharp. The snowy BG set off nicely against the colourfull bird. Signature shot! Well done.

Beautifull mallard with excellent sharpness and colours. Pity that right wing is little cut off.

A fresh Mallard! You weren't joking about the snow! Great shot...just looking at his feet makes me feel so cold. I love the "frozen" detail in the head and body with the wings in motion. Well done.

Thanks for the advice!

Gert, A superb action shot done very well! Love the sharpness & detail I see in the head/body accentuating the wing blur/motion. The colors are excellent. Great, great post!

Amazing shot of flying duck. Super colors and
details.Very good background.

Feels like its in the hairpin of the gun... Outstanding capture of flight and then there is the United Colors of Mallard (hehehe), I just like the shades of color they come in ...

Excellent action shot, Gert. Superb detail.

Hello Gert.
Your in-flight duck shots are always fascinating and a pleasure to view.It is almost as if you were flying alongside this guy to get this shot.
A great capture.
Lovely colours and detail.
Very well done.

Another fantastic one for your particular collection, you have a special skill to get them in flight. Congratilations again.

It looks like it is watching you out odf the corner of its eye. The sharpness on the body is tac sharp, yet the blur on the wings brings movement to the shot.

Thanks for posting and points tomorrow.

Beautiful picture, congratulations.
