Your photo, Gert, is as always superb. One disturbing thing is blurred wings. Maybe 1/500 was too long. This duck looks like emblem of airlines :-) Good work!

Difficult to say if it's your best flying duck, Gert, because all are superb, but I think it is! Specially because of the beautiful low sunlight and also because the lake looks like clouds. So, your duck seems fighting against a high altitude jetstream. That makes this shot very unique. On the photographic side, perfect, as usual!

Another great capture of these birds in flight. The wing feather are excellent, but I wonder if you're not oversharpening a bit- the breast feathers look very hard, though this could be because of the wind rushing past as the bird comes in to lans.

Exposure on this is incredible! What a beautiful capture you have here, Gert! You really locked in the focus perfectly with a little motion blur for the wings gives the viewer a nice feeling of movement. Super capture.

Excellent capture Gert. The low sun adds a very nice and warm atmosphere but it is also very difficult to handle - especially when it comes to birds with white in the plumage. Looks like you had everything under control, well done. Only I would prefer just a little more space in front of the bird to out centre her a little more but that of course is a personally matter.

So clear and graceful. This is marvelous work, Gert! I love your shutter speed, which allowed the duck to be so sharp while the wings are slighly blurry. Very nice!
