What a pity there's not a beady eye twinkling somewhere behind all that "beard" ;-)) Otherwise it's a very good capture with good light and details. From the breeding season, right?

Clever shot! Santa looks a little smaller than I remember him being as a kid, but you're right - that beard is unmistakable ;) The ability to fly is handy too, since it avoids having to deal with those troublesome reindeer! It's a bit oversharpened, but this is Xmas, and it made me laugh :-D

Very well done, Gert. Feathers and beard... he's safe, even if the winter is getting cold in Sweden. If you have a chance to talk to him, I have some of his cousins blue tits here.
