Hi Anne. We to have had a lot of them this year even in my small garden. As you say this is a fresh looking one. Which you have taken with fine detail in the colourful wings. Which we can see from your top POV. Not to sure about the flower as well. TFS.

bellissima immagine di Vanessa del cardo, quest'anno così numerosa nel suo viaggiare incessante(sicuramente a milioni), trovo la composizione straordinariamente bella per questo abbinamento di fiori con e senza farfalla, colori molto belli e ovviamente "solari" con la rappresentazione stessa del sole.

Voici une belle composition de cette belle dame. C'est sans doute lié à l'environnement, mais les couleurs sont plus "mauves" que d'habitude. Je le vois plus "orange" de par ici.
Ceci dit, c'est une présentation peu commune qui est très plaisante à regarder.

Absolutely delightful viewing pleasure has unfolded in front of my eyes upon opening your image. What a lovely “picture” Details of both the flower and the insect is bright and clear and well displayed. Everything is just “pretty” This is an image for a little girl’s room. I really like everything in this photograph but especially the white lining alongside the butterfly’s wings. The image is well focused, super sharp and the composition is lovely. Just love the roughly shaped petals of the flower, and the tiny insect captured on one of the petals. Thanks for sharing. Best regards

quest'anno queste bellissime Vanessa Cardui sono diffusissime e ciò mi fa pensare al buono stato di salute dei nostri prati. La tua è ben composta in una cornice che racchiude con un'ottima messa a fuoco ed un'altrettanto interessante profondità la piccola farfalla posata su questi bei fiori gialli. Molto belli i colori ed i dettagli ottimemente ritratti.
