For me this butterfly is strange, probably to the fact that is common in southern parts of Europe. Is very beautiful and you captured it very well.

Liebe Anne,
Du verwöhnst uns mit dem Wunderfalter und dessen sehr gelungener Präsentation. So etwas von exotisch! Kommt eigentlich Aristolochia im Garten vor? Im CSCF Neuchâtel habe ich gefunden, dass die Art vor 1990 einmal im Südtessin nachgewiesen wurde, seither nirgends mehr in der Schweiz. Dein Fund verdient also, mit Bild und e-mail an CSCF mitgeteilt zu werden!

Comparising with my last picture - this insect is much more beautiful :> I like natural like and POV (even if typical, butterfly looks really nice). I am not sure about rarity of this species in your region, but I must say that I saw it only one time. So thank you for bringing me nice memories from the past :>
