Guten Abend, dear neighbour!
Wie geht es Ihnen?
Typical charming composition with the Large Skipper holding on to purple flowers. The clear POV leaves no scope for shortcomings. It is a perfect image in all respects.
My butterfly picture today has almost the same camera settings.
I'm sort of stuck to these settings; whenever I've tried otherwise, only the regrets have followed after the wasted opportunity.

Hello Anne,
Excellent photo of this Rostfarbiger Dickkopffalter (funny name!) in superb sharpness and details. The light on flower and butterfly is splendid. Beautiful colours in great contrast against the dark BG. Excellent POV and composition.

Bonjour Anne,
A nice one from your summer archive! This O. venatus (sylvanus) was taken from a fine POV while taking nectar with its wings closed. The lighting and sharpness of the subject against a neutral Bg are excellent.

This background of similar colours truly makes the image both stand out in some ways and properly subdued in others..I suppose a good woman with a fine camera will do that to a man:-)

You have captured this beautiful golden brown skipper in great light emphasising the colour and detail of the wings and the furry body to its best. The side view is great against the lilac flower, this way also showing the actual size of this beauty. Like always this is great photography from your hand, and has a soft effect to the eye. A superb macro capture of the beautiful skipper with wonderful details!
The sharpness and POV are perfect here with great show of the natural colors. Nice contrast can be seen between the brown colored skipper and violet flowers as BG.
