Hi Anne, today my neighbour:)
A superb shot of this stonefly species (I think it is Capnia bifrons, but I am not sure exactly! As I could see it has a single cross-vein in apical space of the forewing, if I am not wrong, my guess is true!). All are perfect my friend!. TFS.

I always wonder at the behaviors of insects and mammals as to whether they are reacting to something in geology or the environment which is imminent....very nice image of an insect of which I was not aware...and it is strikingly pretty!

Hello Anne,
An excellent capture of a Stonefly with fine sharpness and in a pleasing horizontal composition. All the ones that I have seen are dark in colour and I have never seen such a light coloured species before. Unfortunately I can't ID it.

I think this is the first-ever picture of this insect on TN.
The image gives a clear impression of this fly's features.
It is a well composed shot of the subject perched atop an interesting looking plant.

Voilà une belle image de cet insecte très délicat. L'arrière plan neutre met parfaitement le sujet en valeur. je n'ai pas réussi à d&éterminer la graminée sur laquelle il fait de l'équilibre.
