I am drawn to this gentle blue colour and have added it to said theme. Also, I have a few images of a species very similar here in the US. i am proud of mine..many of which are not posted..and yours looks every bit as good if not better. Nice of the creator to be gentle with this one.

Bonsoir Anne,
A very attractive portrait of this blue Alpine Flax flower and buds taken with superb sharpness with a drop of water at the tip of the lowest petal as a bonus. I like the composition with the buds and the finished flowers against a pleasing OOF natural green BG.

Hello Anne,

Your photo has an excelent sharpness. The petals are shown in great details. Even the finest veines can be see. Colors are also very well shown. The color tones are so delicate and there is a fine match between the colors of the flower and the background.

Dein Bild ist ganz einfach wunderschön. Dazu gibt es ausser Banalitäten wie gute Komposition, Schärfe und Farbbalance eigentlich nichts mehr zu sagen. Für mich zählt hier die Wirkung der schlichten Schönheit der Pflanze am meisten.

really lovely and pretty depiction of this light blue flower.
The lines and the glow in silvery presentation is excellent.
the out of focussed background really make this one stands out very well.
Excellent clarity with the buds and semi open flowers contribute to the overall beauty.

feines, einfühlsames Portrait dieser zarten, mittlerweile gar nicht mehr häufigen Alpenwiesenblume. Auch eine meiner Lieblingsblumen. Harmonisch komponiert, farblich fein nuanciert - in Deiner unverkennbaren Handschrift.

Très belle publication présentant bien le sujet, à ses différents stades végétatifs, dans une bonne composition qui permet d'apprécier la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs malgré, me semble-t-il, une légère surexposition sur la grande fleur de gauche.
