Hi Anne,
a very nice picture of a lovely flower, the yellow colour are really nice.
Good sharpness and fine details, I can see the hair clearly.
But I prefer a lighter BG but thats of course personal.
Well done.
Gert
Have a nice weekend

Bonjour Anne,
A fine capture of flower of Common Gorse, a species that is only found along the S. coast in Sweden as the climate is too cold elsewhere. This flowers practically all year round and you have taken a nice macro of it flowering in January with good sharåness and aginst a contrasting BG that shows it up well,
Merci et bon weekend,
Amitiés,
Ivan

Hi Anne,
Lovely close up.Colors, contrast between flower and dark BG,exposure, colors and details are perfect.
Thanks for posting.

Hello Anne
The common gorse is a plant I have seen and if I am honest I havent stopped to look at before.
I am now changing the way I look at the world by pictures such as this...The gorse may be common but you have displayed it in a way to show the beauty of its blooms..Perfect use of light and the f10 was just right to send the background into a pleasing blur yet retaining the spiky leaves.
Best Regards
Billy

Hallo Anne,
Das ist sehr dekorative Blume Ich werde behaupten sie noch nicht gesehen zu haben.
Die Präsentation auf dem dunklen Hintergrund verstärkt die Schönheit.
Danke und Gruß Siggi

Hi Anne. This close up picture of the Gorse has such rich colours in the flowers , which you have taken with fine detal. They stand out so well from the dark BG. well done TFS.
Nick..

the heavy yellow on yellow gives me the idea that this was done in the late afternoon eh? If it had been morning there would be more red...but just a guess...it does give a certain mood and for one odd reason or another makes me think of sitting sipping wine while watching. Not sure why!

Amicalement
Hervé

Hi Anne,
A nice capture of this beautiful ulex flower. Superb sharp details and a lovely composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Liebe Anne,
Peter

Hi Anne,
thanks for your critique and most of all thanks for putting the snake-shot as one of your favourites. Realy appreciate that kind deeds of yours.
Im also not very brave with snakes as I remembered when a cobra entered my house, it looks so threatening and ferocious. The image is still clear to me. This shot of yours is indeed very lovely. The colours are so fine with excellent details. The hairs arround the petals are well seen in details,. You have composed it very well exploiting the light and its angle. The dark background is simply outstandingly push the flower into a splendid beauty.

Regards,
Foozi

Hello Anne,
Very beautiful macro shot with excellent details, sharpness against dark BG. TFS.

Hello Anne,
This appears to have huge thorns for such a small flowering bud. Exceptional macro as it shows the minutest of the hairs along its petals.
Well Captured...
Steve
