The fox didn't eat em did he?
I like the image as it is sharp and well illuminated in the light that the stream offers.
I do not like suspense....LOL

Hello Anne,

I like the low POv that you have chosen. It shows the bird from a fine perspective. The image of the Mallard reflected by the wtare makes the image even more atractive.

I have enjoyed watching this picture as much as I did while looking at the first one, Anne. The female Mallard looks at ease with her surroundings in this picture.
This picture too is simply marvellous. You are so fortunate to have these visitors coming to your neighbourhood every year.

The suspense has turned deeper for the 3rd part of your story.

Cette image est onirique, Anne, tout à fait sortie d'un rêve. La réflection sur l'eau est vraiment splendide et les couleurs, tout concourt à un instant de rêverie. Ah, et puis cette cane, elle est enceinte, peut-être même souffre-t-elle de nausée??????

This is getting interested!! I like the story and the pictures you have posted Anne! The reflection is fantastic , the exposure is just right. The mallard is placed in the center which usally is avoided. The space in the back can be reduced.
PS. I will let you know my schedule in Switzerland once it is finalized. This time I might be based in Zurich.

Wunderschönes Foto, Anne, die Spiegelung ist so hübsch. Ich gehe im Winter auch öfter die Enten an unserem Stadtteich mit Brotresten besuchen. Da bin ich immer sehr beliebt ;-)

Of your Mallard series, that I missed, I chose this one of the female. I like the POV showing the contented expression on her face and the composition with her reflection in the water taken with fine sharpness and lighting. Spring is on the way...
