Anne, this is the sharpest picture of a Bee Hawk Moth ever posted on TN. I bet it.
You have got each limb of the Moth in sharp focus. I can even see the little grooves on its antennae. The patterns and colours on one wing in view are clearly defined. The hair on the body look perfectly distinct.
This image is a winner. Congratulations!

Bonita foto nos presentas. Hemaris y Macroglosum son dos esfinges que me fascinan. Supiste captarla bien y veo que "luchaste" con la potente luz, aunque tuviste una buena recompensa por lo bien que la captaste. Las flores, que parecen Moricardia sp. también muy bonitas.

Bonjour Anne,
A very fine action macro of H. fuciformis taken from an excellent POV with everything except thr tips of the vibrating wings being sharp and in great focus. This is well composed with the flowers of Lunaria annua.

Hi Anne. The weather must have been warm to have this Broad-bordered Bee Hawk-Moth flying. You were able to capture it with sharp focusing and fine detail. The body stands out so well TFS.

Deine Galerie ist stark geprägt von diesem wunderschönen Frühling. Du untermalst ihn mit farbenfrohen und zugleich zarten Bildern. In diesem hier gefällt mir die Farbgebung und die relativ dunkle und dadurch sehr spezielle Umgebung sehr gut.

Liebe Anne,
Hummelschwärmer schwebend vor üppig blühender Mondviole - ein ganz besonderer Glücktreffer! Eine Freude, wie Du das reiche Leben, die Üppigkeit und Blütenfülle des heurigen April hier so perfekt ins Bild gesetzt hast.
Verzeih bitte meine lange Absenz. Habe seit Wochen das erste Mal wieder die Muße gefunden, an einem Regentag daheim vor dem Computer zu sitzen und TN zu öffen. Eine seltsam lang währende Koinzidenz aus ausgeufertem Osterputz, viel Arbeit unter Zeitdruck für die Uni - und Woche für Woche gnadenlosem Schönwetter, das mich jeden freien Moment weg from Schreibtisch hinaus in die Natur gezogen hat...
Erfreue mich gerade an Deinen vielen neuen Beiträgen.
