splendida immagine di Polyommatus icarus con un punto di ripresa eccellente per mostrare le caratteristiche di entrambi i lati delle ali, in questo caso si evidenzia maggiormente anche la sfumatura grigia del lato inferiore, ottima definizione e bella prospettiva nella direzione della visione della farfalla con uno stupendo sfondo che mette in risalto l'ottimo effetto TD.

Again this is a postcard. I would appreciate getting a postcard like this in the mail from you at any time. It shows off your love of nature very well. It is technically done very well. But your art is the most important part. You combined art and nature along with photography. The colors are simple earth tones. The background is out of focus as it should be. All is well in the world.

You have shared a shot which I wish to see and again to see. Great back POV, terrific details of the plant in the left-bottom corner of the frame (they are looked as in my room) and stunning reproduction of all charming details of the butterfly. However, BG is so amazing as the main subject. Even without it BG would be looked amazingly too. My congratulations. First-class work.

A Common Blue could not look better than this with both the sides of its wings in the sharpest possible focus, Anne.
The blue of the upper wings seen partially here asserts why this butterfly is named thus.
Overall, a fantastic composition along with the leaves it has chosen to settle on.
