Hi Anne. You call it a special butterfly i would also say a beautiful one. i like very much the shape of the wings with the dots of colour. Your top POv shows this so well. With good detail and a nice pose on the blue Veronica. well done TFS.

Bravo pour cette image. Techniquement elle est bonne et en plus j'apprécie particulièrement cette diagonale du corps du papillon à la dernière fleur que tu as su mettre en valeur par un recadrage carré. Bien vu.

A splendid capture of a most beautiful butterfly, with good detail and great colours. The texture and patterns are displayed well and is clearly seen. This specific butterfly reminds me of the head gear of the a Red Indian. Good sharpness, good focus and great composition, making this an excellent close-up shot. An unopened flower bud or semi opened blossom always attracts my eye and the ones on your image is no exception, as it is very pleasing to the eye. A lovely photo which I appreciated very much. Thanks for sharing.

This is a wonderful capture of this 'exotic' butterfly on the pretty blue flowers. Great focus on the butterfly showing the wonderful markings very clearly. Beautiful natural colours too and a very fine composition.

Dear Anne,
Critiques here aren't started with the special mosaic word "tfs", but now I make an exception. The reason: this animal is the No. 1. on my "butterfly wish list", and not only photographically... My father, who always taught me to love nature and trekking, often told this specie was common when he was a child, but for now it became quite rare in Hungary. I myself never ever saw it, or maybe once, I don't remember correctly... So it's real pleasure to see at least in Switzerland it lives, and You're lucky to capture this specie on such a high quality photo. Perfect double diagonal (the 2nd is the Veronica), nice natural color tones, great sharpness - a fabolous pic overall, which I have to bookmark with a little green star. :) Wonderful work, Madame, congrats.
