A superb macro of these two mating small Weevils, 'longirostre' describing the long snout very well.
The quality of the macro is superb, especially considering the small size, and the POV ideal against the OOF natural Bg.

yup, i always wanted to know how the weevils do it. *g* excellent close-up of the two love-bugs doing their reproduction-

Liebe Anne,
sehr elegant, die beiden winzigen Rüssler in ihren galant schwarz-weiss gestreiften Kleidern. Perfekte Wahl des Gesichtswinkels zur Wiedergabe dieser possierlichen Pose, sehr gute Ausleuchtung, erstaunlicher Detailreichtum für eine dermassen starke Makrovergrößerung. Vortreffliche Komposition, technisch wie künstlerisch ein kleines Meisterstück.

Bravo pour cette photographie de coléoptères, qui me semblent bien occupés. Est-ce la suite de la précédente photographie ?

Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est une très belle composition qui, en outre, se révèle pleine de netteté et de détails. J'adore l'aspect vert légèrement fluorescent du micro relief des élytres et du thorax.
