immagine straordinariamente bella di Celastrina argiolus ripresa in un contesto inusuale in sintonia con le tonalità dei colori delicati di questa bella farfalla, non solo i colori, ma anche la definizione e i dettagli sono eccellenti, perfetta anche sotto l'aspetto compositivo, secondo me un leggero eccesso di "sharp", ma forse inevitabile con questa grande luminosità.

Bonjour Anne,
It is strange how C. argiolus can look almost white in a certain light, as here in this fine sharp capture. Indeed in flight this light colour is a good way to ID it.
You took this female with excellent technical quality and colours to be nicely composed on the Eryngium flowers. A fine first of this species for you: congatulations!

Bonjour Anne,
Je ne suis pas un spécialiste des papillons et n'ai jamais eu beaucoup de succès avec ces bestioles, qui sont très farouches içi a La Réunion ! D'autre part il n' y pas une grande variété sur l'ile,on ne peut pas tout avoir !
Grace a tes splendides photos j'en apprends un peu plus a chaque présentation

Impresionante fotografía Anne. No la había visto antes y viendo por encima tu galería la descubrí.
Un trabajo fuera de serie con la luz y el color que da a la toma una gran elegancia. Mucha originalidad y también eficacia en la composición.

De retour après quelques mois (tant de travail!), je suis ravi de retrouver tes galeries. Cette image m'a attiré l'oeil par la qualité de la composition, mais aussi bien sur par le splendide Eryngium alpinum qui sert de cadre.
