I love it in pictures...Perhaps I shall show you in a few days what snow looks like here in the city:-) Nothing as beautiful as this...which I have also seen in some areas over 10 feet deep with wind hills of 20 feet and still snowing!

Hi!
Nice winterscene and reminds me what we can expect to see during the next few months. But we will see it at a lower level here in the north..
Good depth in that picture, fine colors, and a lot of fine detail in the snow.

This is a great sharp image and your exposure on the snow is perfect. Your pp work looks great. It all looks very natural. I too prefer more dramatic skies but there is something so fresh about white snow against a blue sky.

A very beautiful image,the shot is well exposed.
The snow is wonderful against the blue sky,and the snow covered pine is very artistic.
I travelled through Switzerland a few years back,and I found it to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.I really want to go back.
Very well composed with excellent focus and sharpness.

Ah, so here we see the postcard skies in your part of the world too! I love it though, what an amazing scene and i am hugely jealous of your proximity to these wonderful snow cloaked mountains.
The exposure is perfect and your framing of the tree with the posts leading away into the background has helped add alot of perspective. Superb sharp detail and clarity too, as we would expect from you.
A question, if i may: Do you use crampons and ice axe to get here or is it more straight forward?

Du hast Dich mit der Komposition wirklich ins Zeug gelegt, man merkt Dir die Erfahrung an. Das halbe Gegenlicht ist schwierig zu meistern, besonnter Schnee noch mehr. Toll, der armselige Baum!

I remember looking at this photo just before my internet was cut off...
Right then i was about to say how terrific it is!
I really like the feel of this photo! Both very cold and hice and warm too :) The "freezing" part is given by the snow and its position on the elements, showing exactly how windy it can get up there. The warm - obviously - the lovely sunlight and the perfect blue sky.
These two elements together blend beautifully in this landcsape, together with your excellent photo technique make this superb image.

Splendid shot with wonderful detail. Lovely point of view and great composition. I like this kind of shot. It would look good in a frame on a wall! A breathtaking scene. I am sure you experienced it much more intense being there than what we see on your photo. I never had the opportunity getting so close to so much snow. The snow is wonderful against the blue sky,and the snow covered trees are very artistic. This is how I would imagine an absolute Winter wonderland would be. Thanks for sharing.

a lovely perspective made od ice. Seldom seen and seldom shown. Your snow scapes are really beautiful. The soft subtle and calm sky is really lovely, further more we cant enjoy that in our country. Very sharp and clear shot.
