Hello Dietrich,
The background of smooth stones really makes this dragonfly stand out! Lovely capture showing details very clearly and the colours are beautiful too. It really makes me long for summer!!
TFS and regards, Ulla
Hi Dietrich,
Well composed frame, amazing details. I especially like the wing veins seen so well.
The different shades of granite add to the overall comp nicely.
Excellent color, clarity, DOF, and..this is a man who knows how to use his flash :)
Very well done,
Howard

Hi Dietrich.
Superb scene. Dragonfly on a stone and among stones is looked perfectly. And as usual details are the best also as well as lighting and colours. Diagonal composition of the image is very impressive and framing of the scene cannot be better. TFS and best wishes.
Alexei.
Hi Dietrich,

Hello Dietrich!
Very common backyard pond visitor and great reminder of hot days. Perfectly exposured with great details and colours. Only about three months left to Spring :-)

Hi Dietrich,
You've caught this beautiful Dragonfly in a perfect pose on a very photogenic rock, and excellent sharpness and color too, an all-around beautiful image. Makes me yearn for the warm days of Summer.
Summer is just a memory here too. Tomorrow, our high temperature is forecast to be -1 F./-18 C. and our low tomorrow night will be around -15 F./-26 C. with a wind chill of -34 F./-36 C., needless to say, I am ready for Spring already. It's snowing again today, so I have to get out and do some shoveling, as it's a relatively balmy +17 F./-8 C. currently.
