Hi Marcus. You live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. We have eaven had a little snow on the beach on the south coast of Southern England. You have done such a good job of stitching the pictures together to give this fine compostion of the mountain. Well done TFS.
Nick..

Siemanko Markus,
Your winter photos are amazing, but it is great deal.
I salute Slawek
Hi Markus-
Gorgeous scenery and a wonderful panorama from you as usual. Worthy of a Switzerland travel poster!
I'm somewhat envious of your new snow- we had +14°C today and have lost much of our snowpack. The skiing here will not last long with this onslaught! Once the avalanche danger goes down you should have some fabulous skiing. You've raised everyone's expectations now- we will want to see what the view is like in a week or two when you get to the high places again!
Question on the pano stitching- was it 2x6 or 1x12 (or something else)?
Best regards,
Bob

Hi Markus.
In my childhood winters were more cold and snowy than now. In this winter we had not temperature lower than 0C and had not snow at all. That it why I watch your amazing and very pictorial winter landscape shots with great interest and pleasure. As usual for your works it is composed and framed perfectly. It reflects coldness and freshness of mountain air, cold winter sunlight, razor, crystal sharp shapes of the snowy tress and mountains and wonderful cold colours. Exposure of the shot is spot on as always too. Perfect job. My warm greetings and TFS.
Alexei.

Splendid !
Beautiful scenery, excellent done.
All your pictures are beautiful and interesting.
How we got this offer splendid landscapes. That was very rich in winter snow ... I felt it and we here in Germany.
Best,
Adrian
Hi Markus,
A beautiful panorama of these snowy mountains.
You are so lucky to be able to ski often.
I love sking more than anything else I've done, but I've only been for a few days.
Even though I only live an hours drive from the skifields, because I am unemployed,I can't afford to go :(
This makes winter quite a depressing time for me.
Anyway,an excellent shot of the Freiburger Prealps.
Cheers & TFS

Hola Markus,
El paisaje es muy bonita y la foto está conseguida, para mi gusto esa línea recta de esquina a esquina arruina la armonía del paisaje. También se echa de menos los datos exif de la toma.
Saludos

Gorgeous landscape image Markus,
It must be wonderful to live in such a beautiful place.
I don't know how to stitch photos together yet, but I can see you did a perfect job of doing so. Love the diagonal composition and excellent exposure!! Well done!!!

Hi Markus,
very graphical and lovely soft weather.
As you said, anytime damger could come. silent but not necessarily safe.
Well shown with the peaks and mountains well seen. Thew feefect of the light is excellent and captivating.
I could imagine seeing a few human figures moving slowly on their ski. One of them is you.

Foozi

Saludos y buena semana: Josep Ignasi.

Bonjour Markus,

Hello Markus,
A fine, well stitched, panoramic view of your local mountains. The lighting,POV and composition contribute to make this a joy to see. I like the two wedges in this composition: the wedge of snow in the FG and the wedge of conifers behind it.
800 meters descent in powder snow - WOW!
Thanks for sharing this,
Best regards,
Ivan

I love this mountain panorama, Markus. These mountains are so picturesque!
The image is well stitched with no sign of aberrations. I like that straight diagonal line bifurcating the snow field in the foregroung from the main range of mountains in the distance. The contrasts are wonderful here.
I have three large mountain images I shot recently to stitch together. Unfortunately the light intensity varies in all the three, though I had used the same values. I guess I'll give your software a try, if it is available for free :).
Thanks and regards.
Ram

Hello Markus !
What a majestic landscape ! That's fantastic, and I can only imagine how happy (and how cold, probably :-) you have been when you were standing there... I really love the diagonal composition, and then the different "layers" - plain white snow, trees, mountains, sky. The cold winter colorsare wonderful too. Vey well done !
Valérie.

Hi Markus,
The uneven number atracked me to this photo. I was wondering why somebody would give one point to this photo. It seems that reason is silly and shows that that person can learn something of the stitching technique.
Anyway, its a very beautiful photo with a wonderful serene feel to it. I like the three different layes on the photo wich have all different lines and texture. The layer of snow and trees also give the photo a great diagonal line. I am not so sure about the thin white line in the frame, it gives the photo a odd lob sided feel. But that's something that's not part of the photo, so less important.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Markus
what else to say? This photo is really splendid and framed all at best the beauty of our Alps can offer to us. Beautiful the way in which you have known portrait this landscape in a picture that is adorned to us nearly such as if we were on the place with to you in the same moment in which you have released. Beautiful the soft details and colors of the sky, mountains, snow and forest. (sorry for my english)
Great

Hallo Markus
Maybe I have said this to you before but if I did pardon me for doing it again. I don't think anybody can appreciate scenery like this to its best, until you have seen it in real. The finest photographers can capture and share their work with the greatest detail, but there is nothing like the real thing. For us, that is not fortunate to see these wonderful sightings for real have to thank photographers like you for bringing these scenes into the luxury of our homes. This is absolutely amazing looking at these perfectly shaped and formed mountains, covered with snow. It is also wonderful to look far back and only see beauty upon beauty. An all round super shot, which only deserves praise and congratulations, and once again remind ourselves of the wonder of this beautiful Creation. Best regards
Anna
