A wonderful shot of P. c-album, a species not so common here in Sweden this year.
The POV, sharpness and DOF are excellent and I like the way you captured it in its natural surroundings with fine contrast against the BG.

There are many pictures of butterflies on TN but this is one of my favorites. Sharp, very well lighted and nice colores. Perfect composition.

danke für die nette Widmung! Da ich denselben Falter auch photographiert hatte, kann ich durch Vergleich sehr gut erkennen, was Du alles besser gemacht hast, vom Blickwinkel über die Komposition mit dem Blatt bis zur Schärfentiefe hast Du alles hingekriegt, ich nicht.

una bellissima immagine di questa caratteristica farfalla, la saturazione dei colori permette di apprezzare perfettamente il suo splendido colore arancione macchiato di nero, ottima nitidezza, molto gradevole la composizione che valorizza al meglio la classica posa di questa farfalla sulla foglia al sole.

Très agréable image du Robert le Diable qui se chauffe au soleil d'automne. Les couleurs sont très harmonieuses et l'insecte parfaitement net. J'admire ta patience !
