Bonjour Markus

Hi Markus,
an interesting excercise in 'simulacrum'! I instantly can see an Elephants' profile here. Well framed with great clarity and detail, excellent photography my friend, well done.

Hola Markus,

Hi Markus
Even before i read your notes, i saw something in this photo :) Seriously!
Then i read them and i did what you asked and it works even better :)
I see North America - it's western part mostly - and Mexico (as the continent becomes narrower towards the south). In my mind, they really look very much alike :)
Another excellent abstract nature shot from you, my fiend, and again one that touches our imagination at a personal level.
Great work, as usual!
Bravo and TFS

Hello Markus,
Yes, it looks a bit like a map of North America or maybe its a young elephant! But, you know I don't on the whole have the desire to discover familiar shapes in 'abstract' art, I just love it as it is, beautiful lines, shapes and colours, all part of nature! A lovely composition too!
TFS and have a nice weekend! Ulla

Hi Markus,
again this shot is really wonderful in exercising oneself to be creative. The imagination will definitely works well with this medium of instruction of your. Photographically I like its delicateness. The flaking slate is indeed well shown in details, textures and colours.
Such a special presentation.
regards,
Foozi
Lieber Markus,

Hello Markus,
It doesn't matter what it looks like, it's just very beautiful. The pastel colours look gorgeous and the lines and shapes great. Through the differents in colour it creates a very nice perspective.
Regards,
Peter

Ciao Markus,
Grazie e complimenti
Buona domenica
Ciao Maurizio

Hello Markus!

Hello Markus,
I played your game and could visualise most of the image, espcially the FEEL of it. To me, even though it is not three-dimensional, the effect of the patterns and colour contrasts is three dimensional. Your ability to spot this and capture this in just the right composition is a gift that few of us share.
Super job and thanks for letting us enjoy it!
My best wishes,
Ivan

A thought provoking message Markus, and what you ask is more than reasonable..
"A great photograph is usually looked at, seldom looked into"
Each who views this will come away seeing something entirely different.
You've done your job as a photographer :)
Thank you for this one, well presented - well done!

Bonsoir Markus.
Belle composition.
Merci pour ce partage.
Bonne soirée et à bientôt.

Hello Markus,
When I first viewed your photo I immediately saw North America and an elephant, then I read your notes and looked more deeply into your image.
I then saw a lady looking towards the right side of the photo. She is at the bottom portion of the photo in the tan colored area. Her face is right under the first dark round spot on the mid right hand side of the bottom portion of the frame.
You can clearly see her lower chin, mouth, slightly bent downward nose, eye and forehead. She seems to have a scarf covering her head.

Hy Markus
My thoughts runned to the mountains from Romania, that I love very much; I miss them, so I am very glad if any picture could remind me them. Of course, another arthistic picture from you, as ussually.
TFS and kind regards,
Oana

Markus, nochmals,
Dieter
