Dandelion-2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
In the nature in May-June one of the plants which can be a good subject for photography is the dandelion. Either with all its feathers and through the sun for example, or you blow on it to remove most of the feather and just leave a few for the photography.
It gives the impression of a mignature palm tree on a rock.
I took this picture with my Macro lens (55 mm) which was at around 5-10 cm from the flower. I used a macro-ring flash and a second flash that I handed on top of the flower with my left hand (whilst I had my camera in the right hand).
I used a light diffuser on the flash which was connected to the camera with an extension cord.
The light coming from the two flashes enabled me to close the aperture to the minimum (f32) and thus resulting from an underexposed background which was the forest. |

Hi Francois, good composition, the macro is good, but the subject could sharpen a bit more. Note is helpful. Well done.
Very nice Francois.
I like the contrast here, the flower looks nice against the black BG. I have a similar but with all the seed left, Blow.
Good POV, composition and not.
Well done.
