I think that they are known as "hummingbird moths" or something like that.

Yes it is a Hummingbird Hawk Moth.
Very hard to shoot succesfully due to their rapid movements and small size. Well done on getting him feeding.
Wider aperture may have been better to blur the background more. Try searching for this insect in treknature and check out some other peoples attempts at shooting it.
