Guten Tag, liebe Anne.
Eine zurückhaltend leise, stimmungsvolle Aufnahme dieser großartigen Szenerie ums Bietschhorn bescherst Du uns hier in verhaltenden Farbtönen.
Der Winter ist heuer bei uns in den Bergen im Osten Österreichs bereits mit kräftigem Neuschnee und in Wien mit Dauerregen eingefallen. Da tut es gut, mit einem Anblick wie diesem den Kopf aus den Wolken zu haben.

sehr gut gemacht, das Portrait vom Bietschhorn in Pastellfarben. Raffiniert: die emporkriechenden Schatten. Gut auch, dass die Tanne rein Kontur und nicht in Farbe ist. Ansel Adams wäre stolz auf Dich wenn er noch lebte, so bin ich es halt.

Hi Annne!

I think you know why I chose this picture as a favourite. It's incredible: today, we had a family meeting at Schwarzsee (Freiburg) to say good bye to a family member that has just passed by. With some oncles, we were remembering the moments we have spent together in front of this beautiful mountain.

I like the colors, the lighting and the composition of your picture very much and agree with you that it expresses a transitional mood. Let's go and catch that winter...

What a wonderful vista. The soft colors are very beautiful and the shapes of the mountains most atractive to explore. I like the way you used the trees to frame your photo. I have to be honest when it comes to the quality of the photo. It somehow seems that the lower part of the photo has lost much of its details. The trees on the foot of the mountain seem to have become one large mass of brown color. Did something happen on the upload?

very good shot! amazing place. I don´t know if you work with photoshop, but it seems that over the canyon the image is a bit blur. But that´s all. The POV is really good and the combination of light and shadows is also good.

Bonsoir Anne,
C'est un site impressionnant mais la lumière le rend paisible. Le titre de ton image est très bien choisi. Transition de la saison vers l'hiver, mais aussi transition dans le paysage, entre le montagnard et l'alpin. On vois très bien sur ta photo comme la limite de la forêt coincide avec celle des premières neiges.

You managed nice sharpness on the distant mountain Anne. I do have to agree with Niek... something happened to the focus in the middleground. Exposure on the whites is good. This looks like a nice place to visit.

No matter how pure and clean the first snow is, no matter how good it looks in photographs; I'd rather not see it at all..!
This is a well composed image with a great feeling of depth, and the varied light adds life...

On croirait voir le fond d'écran de 'La Columbia' , la société cinématographique, qui avait une montagne enneigée en arrière plan de son annonce publicitaire.

Hello Anne,
I noticed the image of this beautiful mountain, the Bietschhorn,
because of the shadows that were cast across the terrain, and because its shape is very similar to our own Mt. Hood in Oregon.
I see the copper color of the trees at the turn of seasons is spectacular, and the summit would indeed be a challenge to ascend. A monumentas achievement if one were to succeed.
