Ah !!! Fresh alpine air. Very nice composition. I like the angle of the slope, the tree and cabin with the mountains in the back. Lighting, DOF, saturation are all balanced.

what a peaceful environment, good composition, POV and DOF. I was thinking that a touch more contrast and saturation would bring the colours out a touch more, but that's only an idea not a crit...

Just beautiful. The emptyness of the Alpine meadow against the high alps is beautiful. I like the way the little cabin and the tree are kinda framing this one highlighted peak. A lovely clean photo. Did you noticed you had a few dirt spots on your lens? (left upper corner)

Excellente composition mettant en valeur ces jolies montagnes. La diagonale marque la limite entre deux espaces opposés: la pente douce, verte et herbeuse et les montagnes dures, grises et rocheuses. L'arbre et la cabine, postés l'un à gauche, l'autre à droite sont la sentinelle et le point de passage entre ces deux zones.

Very well composed. It's not the usual moountains+wood house. Here the tree is very important to give personality to our beautiful picture. Very, very relaxing too!!

I like landscapes, and this lanscape is really beautiful. There is a nice contrast between the green meadow and the high mountains with snow.
The contrast is even higher in spring and in autumn and that's why I love these two seasons...

This is to me what Switzerland is all about! Ive never been there myself - but I was watching "Heidi" on the TV as a kid - so this is what I always pictures switzerland to be like!
The mountains are just beautiful, and you`ve captured them in a great way, with a nice composition!

I just did a little workshop - playing with the colours a bit :) See if you like it!

Bonjour Anne,
Ah, les Alpages Suisses ! On retrouve ici un peu la même chose qu'au Col des Arravis tout proche.
J'aime bien cette prise de vue partagée entre le petit chalet d'alpage et l'arbre. Et bien sûr, les montagnes en arrière plan sont splendides.
Le moment de la journée est bien choisi afin que la lumière soit bonne sur le pic.
Bien vu.
Comme je dis souvent, une bonne photo c'est être au bon endroit à la bonne heure, et ce n'est pas toujours facile. :o)
