I may have said this before but you use that Canon and the image looks as though a Nikon took it..so that disproves my theory in this area...This is just the way I would shoot and present this one Anne. Gorgeous flora!

Je regardais un livre de plantes printanières hier soir et j'ai vu les différentes espèces d'hépathiques! Cependant, il n'y en a pas ici, je crois que c'est à cause des conifères et trop peu de feuillus. Quelles jolies fleurs et quelle chance tu as eu de les croiser! Très belle photo, Anne, j'aime beaucoup les couleurs et la netteté de ton image. Merci!

A fine capture of Hepatica nobilis taken with excellent sharpness and from a great POV to show the two flowers with fine detail. I find that I have to underexpose a couple of stops to get the colours right, especially the darker ones, but maybe these were naturally pale as some are.

Hi Anne,
another beautiful flower, soft and pretty purple. Very sharp and well seen in great detils. I like its isolation with undisturbed leaves. Yhis one also display the vertical lines of graphic and blurry background, making it straight forward and simple. Well seen and I believe it is a petite flower.
