This is once again one of those images that have that overwhelming attraction to the eye. This is in my opinion also a PPP- Pretty perfect picture. The type that one would like to print, frame and hang onto your wall. The flower on which the butterfly is resting on is beautiful and colourful, and it enhances the soft colours of this lovely butterfly to a great extent. I enjoyed this one. Thanks for this contribution. A well deserved 10/10.

This is a wonderful capture from last summer and of a gorgeous butterfly I've only seen on the chalkhillls of Dorset, England. I love your colours and the details are very sharp too in this beautiful composition! A very successful second try!

Wonderful close-up picture. Details f the bud and butterfly are incredible. Superb DOF and sharpness. BG is also great. It underlines the sharpness of the main subject perfectly. I like a bit unusual and very attractive colour palette. Bravo. Perfect job.

ce qui me plait surtout, c'est que le papillon et la knautia sont dans la lumière et l'arrière-plan semble dans l'ombre ce qui fait un effet un peu dramatique comme avant un orage

First of all, thanks a lot for your kind words on my 900th picture on TN, Anne.
My first impression of this picture is that it is once again a highly aesthetical presentation in 800x800 format. The format suits the content, which, in itself, is exquisite. The dainty Chalkhill Blue and Knautia flower seem to have been made for each other.
Despite its big size, the picture is pin sharp.

So sorry for missing this beauty Anne...I have beren busier than ever which is good for me but not for others perhaps...

This is a wonderful and attractive image..the perch is almost a cousin in colours and patterns...and this has a mood to it..not sure what it is...not olive drab but more of an earthy overall quality. Well seen!
