BRENTHIS INO again

In my former picture I showed this butterfly with open wings.
I thought that it could be interesting to present also a sideview of this butterfly. The colors and patterns of the underwings are quite similar to those of Brenthis daphne, they are just slight differences. To be sure the best is to have also a picture of the upper wings.
The butterfly is posed here on a Knautia, which is a very attractive flower for all sorts of insects.

salut Anne,
jolie prise de vue même si ça à l'air un peu OE sur la fleur. J'aime les couleurs complémentaires et le pov distant.

Bonjour Anne,
Very good macro...
Excellent capture, sharp details, nice colors and background.
But in sunlight, very strong.
Have a nice weekend,
Seyfi

Very beautifull capture, very sharp details, nice natural colors and light, excellent DOF and BG.
Regards,
Nikos.

Hi Anne,

Very well composed and very nice angle of capture, with lavish detail, but some exceeded the general level exposure. This may be due to the brightness of the flower and open measurement. For these cases it is best to measure against the flower center and put the insect in this light level.

Either way, it remains a good job.

Regards, TFS and you have good Sunday

Jesús

Bonjour Anne,
I have been trying to capture B. ino with the wings closed for a long time.
Even though this is slightly soft, I have not been able to reach this standard so far! I think this is an excellent portrait of this species, well composed on the Scabious flower against a fine OOF natural BG. Maybe it is just a little too bright!
Merci et bon weekend,
Amitiés,
Ivan

Hello Anne,
Beautiful photo of this butterfly on the flower. Clear colours and good sharpness. Great composition and POV.
I've canceled my photo of the Herring Gull which you gave me your critique. On my old screen the quality was good, but on my laptop it was bad. Sorry to have troubled you.
Have a great weekend,
Peter

Hi Anne. A good side view this time with the closed wings. So we can see all of the wings markings. A nice pose on the flower with natural colours. wel ldone TFS.
Nick..

Bonjour Anne,
I have missed many of your posts as I have been very busy during the days, and now I see that i have missed many butterfly images you have attached to your portfolio. You are so fortunate to have such a variety where you live, as well as all the flower types.
A beautiful combination with this flowering bud and butterfly. Excellent capture of the markings, and how about what appears to be an eye patch, do you know what it is?
Excellent capture...
Have A Great Weekend...
Steve

Excellent capture of this beautiful butterfly.
Nice colours with great details.
Light,focus and definition are superb.

Bonjour Anne

Grazie e complimenti
Buona giornata
Con amicizia
Maurizio
