Hello Anne,

A very well detailed macro capture of the skipper!
Superb sharpness and well chosen POV along with very nice use of the shallow DOF, works great here. The eyes are the most beautiful part of the shot. They look so amazing, the details we don't see optically with naked eye. The contrast between the colors of the Rattle flower and the colors of the skipper, is very well shown. Great composition.

Wow Anne, that's a great macro! Wonderful timing and you got a very good point of view. In fact it's looking like your model is posing for you. The light falling on it is just perfect and very crisp details can be seen, I love the details around its eyes. Very interesting composition too!

Die Pose wie er sich auf die Blumen gesetzt hat ist hervorragen, die Farben sind leuchtend und die schärfe entsprechend.

Hi Anne. I think the Large Skipper also the small one our one of my favorire butterflies. I am not to sure why. I think its the small size and rich colours. Your side POV shows fine detail in the head area and wings. with rich colours. It stands out from the light greens of the BG. well done TFS.

Hi Anne,
Beautiful lighting and colors but you can't use the same aspect ratio for all your images, one should choose it according to the situation. Here the bright flowers dominating the beautiful skipper, here is my WS to show how to keep the viewers interest to the selected subject. No doubt you are showing lots of habitat, I appreciate that but still sometimes your subject should take the center stage. Hope you don't mind my comments. tfs.

di questa immagine mi piace soprattutto la luminosità diffusa in una bellissima composizione, il WS di nagraj può essere una soluzione, ma personalmente per la visione a video mi piace soprattutto questo formato, che come avrai certamente notato è uno dei miei preferiti, la definizione è eccellente con impressionanti dettagli, splendenti i colori.

Hi Anne,
you have been enjoying butterfly very much and i m with fungi for the time being. It has been raining here for a few days and fungi just thrive,
The sharpness of this skipper is excellent. The frontal is nice as it exposes its eyes very well. huge and dark.
the composition is lovely that includes the flower to give maximum impact.
A beautiful presentation.

ich hab` gestern Abend zu Cristina gesagt, - Anne ist bestimmt ingerwo verschwundert und kommt mit neuen Fotos !
Ja, die Überaschung für dich war , dass ich auch Schmmeterlinge fotografiert habe.
Wie ist das Wetter bei euch?
Ingerdwann möchte ich nach Mattahorn fahren, weil ich noch gültige Vigniete für die Schweiz habe.
Vieleicht sprichst du mit deiner Julian und konnten wir zusammen hin fahren. Es wäre eine mögliechkeit.

A very nice macro of a male sylvanus taken from a very good POV showing both surfaces of the wings with fine technical excellence and pleasing subdued colours.
The Rhinanthus flower is nice too.
