Hallo Anne,
diesen Schmetterling habe ich bisher noch nicht zu Gesicht bekommen. Mir gefällt seine Pose auf der verwelkten Blume und der verschwommene Hintergrund. Die Schärfe ist sehr gut und man kann viele Details der wirklich schönen Flügelunterseiten erkennen.

Lovely macro capture of the Titania Fritillary! The sharpness and POV are nice with great control on DOF. The colors of the butterfly are perfectly shown and the textures are so far well defined and well depicted through your picture. I like the eyes of the butterfly. Great work!

Hi Anne. The colours of the Titania's Fritillarymatch the old flower head in colour. This is a first class close up , with sharp focusing and fine detail. i like the natural tones in the colours. And the markings on the wings. It stands out so well from the plain BG. well done TFS.

Impressive close-up, whith a good POV to view the wings's structure and some detalis more in this butterfly. These species are very interesting for me, taking acoount I live in the tropical.

bellissima immagine di Boloria titania, una delle farfalle che a ragione rientra fra le tue preferite per colori e disegni, che hai ottimamente rappresentato, mi piace molto la scelta di un POV basso e la composizione semplice con uno stupendo sfondo per un efficace e piacevole impatto visivo. A proposito della tua domanda sul numero di specie che ho fotografato questa ad esempio è una specie che non ho ancora visto e fotografato, comunque di sole farfalle diurne ne ho fotografate circa una settantina.

It certainly is a delightful specimen from the mountains, Anne.
I wonder what nourishment it is getting from a dry flower, though.
The angle of exposure is well chosen with the light falling on the subject evenly so that the details on the wings are just wonderful.

This is indeed a very beautiful Fritillary that we don't see here. A lovely capture showing sharp details and beautiful colours.
A bird has obviously had a nibble at it but it's not given up! A beautiful composition too.

such a beautiful capture in excellent light. Everything is so sharp and clear, the flower as well as the butterfly. The BG is well muted thus emphasising on the bueuty of both.

Liebe Anne,
wie viel Zeit schon wieder verflossen sein muss, seit ich mir das letzte Mal für TN Zeit nehmen konnte, merke ich, wenn ich sehe, wie ungeheuer produktiv Du hier inzwischen wieder gewesen bist! Elegant komponiertes Portrait einer schon etwas abgeflogenen Titania - Falter und Blüte beide abgeblüht und dennoch vibrierend lebendig und schön. Der verregnete Juli scheint auch dem Wallis windige Tage beschert zu haben, die leichte Bewegungsunschärfe des Fotos erzählt davon. Leicht und zart dokumentierte schöne Begegnung.
