very beautiful photo, the colors are great. i like the framing of this, as well as the perspective very much. however, i wish the mushroom (or what i thing is a mushroom) sprouting in the front wasn't there. it is distracting and takes away from making this a really great photo. those are just my thoughts, other than that, i really like it.

Hi Urs,

It is an Amanita specie. Probably Amanita crocea or Amanita fulva. The two species are quite similar, the difference being mainly the cap colour, orangeish in A. crocea and brownish in A. fulva.
I couldn't decide if the one in your photo goes toward orange or brown.
