Another Primula vulgaris. I take this photo in 2004 in Switserland high in the mountains nearby Leysin. See for further information about this species my other photo. I'm sorry to say that. I make a mistake. its not a Primula vulgaris, but a Primula faronisa. Thanks to herve1993.

Bright and beautiful purple colour in good exposure and focus!
Nice DOF with darker bg that makes the flowers so outstanding!

Bonjour Bob,
La photo est très réussie, avec la deuxième inflorescence dans l'arrière plan qui répond à la première. Ce n'est pas Primula vulgaris (qui a des fleurs jaunes), plutôt Primula faronisa, qui pousse dans les pelouses humides d'altitude.

Hoi Bob,
Super mooi foto met echt prachtige kleuren. Deze primula had ik nog niet gezien. Prachtig hoe de zon de bloemen zo mooi heeft weten te belichten. Details en scherpte diepte zijn perfect.
