A superb macro of this fly with great details. I think a Volucella species from Syrphidae family since the first 2 long veins meet before reaching the wing margin and also it may be bombylans by its dense hair. But I am not sure exactly. Anyway, thanks for sharing this perfect shot.

magnifique, cette mouche! Juste ce qu'il faut en reflexions sur les ailes, lumière parfaite, bonne netteté. La mouche: Villa hottentotta (Dipera; Bombyliidae; Hottentot bee fly; Hottentotten-Hummelfliege). Tu avais la chance d'en voir une, je n'ai encore jamais eu ce privilège. (Le guide utilisé: J.
