I have learned in Switzerland that real-life swan lakes exist... I only knew this expression from the famous ballet... A very calming picture, that, I believe, is worth sharing. This was a rainy late afternoon in the town of Montreux at lake Geneva (a beautiful place!), but the rain has stopped by this time. The air was warm though.
About the photo itself: I straightened the line of horizon +1, saturated colors very little - just +2 and added brightness also very little, +2, just to improve the photo quality.
These were real nature colors, I did not want to enhance them too much. I wanted to keep them natural and close to reality. |

The swan seems to have the place to himself.
Well composed,I like the stark contrast of rugged beauty vs graceful beauty.
The shot has atmosphere,it has a feeling of isolation.
Very good POV.
