I frequently think the sky is the best part of a picture, and here you have acknowledged that! I like the shape and softness of the cloudds! The closeness of the mountains makes one realise just how high these clouds are!

ah yes..the last of the summer wine...shortening days with collossal skies to bring in the autumn and wintering feel
our cameras and our monitors arent all the same so what we see others dont necessarily see..
i see a bluish cast over light yellow to white cloud
the effect is very peaceful and pleasing..
ps my camera always is greeny in tone
sometimes i correct this..sometimes let it go

Colors are not only determined by what they are through the physical reaction that allows us to perceive them, but also by our emotions and mood. Sometimes writing notes is a disadvantage because it constrains our free interpretation, but sometimes they help us to transmit the emotional side that ties the photographer to the picture he has taken. Your country is enchantingly beautiful, Anne. I too was born and brought up in the Himalayan mountains, though educational aspirations and work drove me out of there almost half a century ago. Now that I am old, I had to settle for New Delhi -- a hot and polluted metropole -- on my wife's insistence.

I miss the kind of eloquent sky you have captured here so beautifully.
