Did you ever get close to this little Hermine. He's very cute and I love the background with all the moss and lichen. The colours are soft and natural and I like how he is looking right in your camera.

Quelle superbe rencontre! Ce fut réciproque il semble. Son regard est si intense.
J'aurais préféré un cadrage plus décentré (un peu moins à gauche), plus dynamique et aussi car la grosse tache de mousse vert clair à côté de la tête de l'hermine me gêne un peu. Mais cela n'engage que moi bien sûr.

This is a magnificent shot and a splendid post from you!
I'm amazed that the hermine was so curious and so brave as to approach you like that, but you did terrific to take this photo!
I really love the frontal point of view as well as the shallow depth of field that concentrates all the attention of the viewer strictly on the head of your lovely subject.
The details are very sharp and the colors are very beautiful and natural.
Spot-on exposure and very simple but very effective composition.
