Dein Bild ist so still und leise und geht gerade in mein Herz. Du weisst es ja, sie ist wie ein Stück von mir, die Hellela. Ich habe "lange Zeit" zwischen den Bäumen zu gehn und die goldenen Lärchen zu sehn.Ganz vezaubert zeigst Du sie, mit diesem feinen Nebelschleier. Hab herzlichen Dank. Guet Nacht

Your Larch is in the same family of our Tamarack tree here in the Pacific NW! Deciduous and lightens then drops this time of year and comes back in spring. Not quite near as large as ours though and presented here in good image as well as mood which you are so good at. I wonder if your Larch has a moss which grows on it in some places of the shade?

Hi Markus,
Its great to see your photos again and read your personal touched notes. I'm sory to hear that your wife had an accident on your last holiday, but its good to read that she is fit enough to accompany you during this trip. She sounds like a wonderful and thoughtfull person that even gives you the freedom to take stunning photos. I am glad she convinced you to continue with this hike, since it surely gave you a perfect situation to create this photo. I like the fact that you choose for a shallow DOF to concentrate only on the first few trees without loosing too much details in the more distant silhoutted trees. I do have to say that the larches do add the much needed color to a coniferous forest and without it, I am sure that a good photo would be much harder to find. I really like your creative composition which does inspire me for future opportunities.

Hello Markus,
a very unique atmosphere. ( to me - in in the rainforest).Lovely soft environment and very cooling. Nice arrangement of tree trunks. The natural framing of yellow leaves look very pleasing. Excellent composition of a simple forest.

I love this! The colours and different textures are wonderful and create a nice composition. I just love days like this. Very serene and calming. The Larch are starting to turn colour here now.
