Hi all!

I promise, this is the last picture of leaves I'm presenting to you. I first wanted to show another picture, but finally thought it is still seasonal and just a couple of days old.

I made it last saturday during a quiet and easy walk in the bed of the river Ärgera (canton of Freiburg), beside the path, just jumping from rock to rock. Even if it looks like, I didn't arrange anything in this picture, the little alder leaf was really lying on the larger beech leaf. The long and narrow ones are coming from willows.

I was delighted by the richness of designs and colors although it was raining most of the time during my hike. In addition, I was the only human being there and I could appreciate the quietude of the spot. I also saw roes and a fox. When I returned home I was wet, but happy and relieved.

Kind regards

Markus

N.B. Taken in RAW, imported as this in PS, level corrections (mainly attenuation of the bright tones), sharpness, saved as TIFF and then cropped and converted to JPG for TN.

After post processing, I always save my pictures as TIFF-files in order to be able to print them in best quality.

you have eyes of Mr. Holmes my friend.

Subhayan.

One way or the other...I always love patterns and you always see them...It is almost like built in OCD:-) I am sometimes quite the same way but on a larger scale..You are very good at this kind of seen arrangement...
Bob

Hello Markus,
Fine details in the variety of leaves!
The seasonal colours come well through, the fine textures make the subjects attractive...

You did a great job again Markus! Let's see what new I can say :) It is the moisture in leaves and ground on these leaf shots that are so alive they make the whole thing so real! I didn't realize this effect in your shots before I think...

Hi Makus

Another beautiful composition - rather like one of the expensive 'Art Cards' one sees. Great focus and exposure.

Bonjour,
Pour qui aime les photos un peu plus artistiques, les feuilles sont décidemment un sujet inépuisables.
Bonne journée.

well done and well composed
best regards

Well I'm going to hang onto autumn as long as I can. I'll be posting autumn colors well into winter. It is my favorite season and winter here is grey with rain... no fun photographically speaking. I love your natural leaf arrangement. The colors, patterns and shapes are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

hi Markus, I like your compositions of leaves, most of all I like the quite colours of this picture and the sensation of peace it gives, many compliments
ciao
franco

hello Markus,

Leaves are very artistic in their colours and the way that they position themselves! I, like you, never cease to be amazed by their beauty!

I like what you have done here! If I was to be anthropomorphic, I would say this is a mother and child!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Many thanks for your comments on my 'Leaf Debris'.

Hi Markus,
Really a true depiction of the season. Good composition and fine details.
