Anne, welcome back (thought I too have been erratic in my appeareances here because of work!)
A great pity your machine broke down. Take heart and start afresh :-).
What a tender looking flower you captured last spring and have shared with us today. I love these blooms that come out of moist earth in early spring in cold regions.
Did you use lasso and blur system to remove BG noise? If you did, then there are tell-tale residues of it around the subject.

Beautiful Common Snowdrop. Nice color and well seen against dark and soft background. Lovely pov and composition. Sorry to hear about your mishap. I always write my pictures on to CD or DVD as back up. It is difficult to tell when a hard dish will crash. TFS this fine image.

Few days a go I photograph similar flowers. I like your shot a lot. Especially I like excellent exposure of the white petals and reproduction of various charming features of the flower and amazing blue strip on BG. May be vertical orientation of the image would be a bit better but this is not a point. You have reflected the first sigh od spring with refined taste. My compliments and best regards.

Nice to see you back but 'am shocked to learn about your misfortune. You must be feeling terrible but I am sure you will build up an even more beautiful gallery in course of time. Maybe you should be more careful this time as everyone of us should be.

C'est un plaisir de te retrouver ici. La perte de tes clichés est très regrettable, c'est surement beaucoup de moments et de situations dont tu ne pourras plus témoigner. Tu pourras les remplacer par les très belles images à venir.
Merci pour ce perce neige. Malgré ma grande attirance pour ces groupes de fleurs (Leucojum, Acis...), je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de l'admirer. L'image est pure et très belle.
