The cloud

This morning,
You didn't yet exist.
Now you're most splendid.

You want to fly at higher game,
Swelling hard
To reach dizzy heights.

Always bigger,
Always stronger,
Always nicer.

I look up to you,
Feeling so small.
Soon, you'll frighten me.

Enjoy the lust and power,
Because this evening,
You'll cease to exist.

During a walk in the lower parts of my homeland, I found a beautiful sky. Here, we are near the village of Düdingen in de Kanton of Freiburg. I will do about 50 different hiking tours during the next months and take pictures for an association that is going to publish booklets with hiking routes.

Kind regards

Markus

Dieter

Hi Markus!

It is fantastic that your landscapes will be published, I think they found the best man to populate Switzerland! You know your land very well and yet you always find a scene that shows even more, something special, like this one!
Wonderful cloud with nice shapes on land, perfectly exposed and presented. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

It is sights such as this that humbles us...oh! to see the world and praise His designs galore...an absolutely interesting capture that very nicely capture the expanse of this beautful cloud at the same time including the ground beneath to give the frame a real life. The arc shaped roll fo the hill has a dramtic effect to the composition.Very well done.
TFS & Cheers

Hi Markus!
That is one magnificent cloud!
I love the lushness of it: green grass, yellow flowers, fluffy clouds and lovely curvy lines.
Brilliant lighting and colours.
Great composition.
I love the poem too... you really have a talent in that area too!
I will look out for the booklets too!
Very well done!

Joe

Hi Markus,
Wow......wonderful shot and it seems like it is getting on me. Great perspective and the huge white cloud looks so nice on the blue sky and green horizon. Superb natural lighting and exposure levels and I like your low POV to portray this charming scene. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Markus, I love clouds and this one is truly a majestic formation.
The contrst between the blue sky and the pure white cloud is beautiful, to say the least.
Your choice of details on the earth also complements this lovely composition.
Thanks and take care.
Ram

Hi Markus, splendid landscape with superb sky, fantastic colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Markus,

I never really noticed clouds unless there was a storm brewing, until I became a photographer! Now, I find them wonderful, beautiful expressive, ... oh, I could go on!

I think most photographers feel that way. You have captured what I have been trying to express! This is, artistic, magnificent, a huge bear towering slowly over the land!
Well done!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

We had these clouds in my wilderness...They actually formed right there only a mile from where I stood and I realized that people for a hundred miles downhill could see them...they carry very much power!

It's wonderful how the clouds can come along and change the scenery so quickly. All I see here are the clouds, and then I remember to look at the greenery. BRILLIANT
Good find Markus,

Hi Markus

Sorry, but just a very short comment today :(
Nice to see a beautiful spring picture from your area at last :)
The colors here are gorgeous and i like your interesting composition by granting the sky and this bug fluffy cloud so much of the frame. Beautiful work, my friend!

Bravo and TFS

Hi Markus,
i see you are another cloud lover! Absolutely perfect composition and POV with a great job on the exposure, something that isn't always very easy when the main focus is the cloud. Congrats on getting published, you have some fine photo's that many people should enjoy also.

Hello Markus,
Some days the most wonderful cloud formations occur!
This is a fine composition, where the ground also offer some attractive shapes...
The cloud is well exposed, personally I go for an EV around -1.0 in situations like this!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Markus

A wonderful composition with expert timing - to get the ligt of the brow of the hill. I also like the use of a few strong geometric shapes here combined with strong colour.

James

Nice cloud! Also nice song that goes along with it! I love big clouds! And also cirrus, but this one is like a mighty Mountain! Untamed and perhaps lightning might come with it. Thanks Markus for sharing! Cheers Josh Lewis.

Hello Markus,
Wonderful view of the cumulus clouds erupting from behind the hill. Beautiful colours and a lovely composition. I hope you don't give up posting now that the snow is gone!!
Many thanks for dropping in on my PBase site!

Buen trabajo.
Saludos y buen fin de semana: Josep Ignasi Tejedor.
