Guten Abend, Dieter,
Entomologie mit Entertainment. Ein strahlend hell ausgeleuchtetes, klar komponiertes, farbenfrohes, durch und durch heiteres Foto. Der riesige auf dem Kopf balancierte Regentropfen und der perfekt in eingefrorener Bewegung festgehaltene trippelnde Gang des roten Käfers geben dem Foto eine ganz besondere Note. Da gab's doch vor gut zweihundertfünfzig Jahren den reich illustrierten Bestseller eines gewissen Rösel von Rosenhof mit dem Titel "Insectenbelustigungen". Dein herrliches Foto wäre ein aktueller Beitrag zur Neuauflage.

The pov is very good.An eye level shot of this brightly coloured cardinal beetle.
The lighting is well handled,and the contrast is good.
Lovely sharpness and focus,the textures of both the beetle and grass is excellent.

A drop of rain is a small water piece for us but greater amount of water for an insect, evet gerater than its head. Great macro. Sharpness, colors, composition, fine details superb. TFS. Regards,
