What a wonderful Alpine flower you're showing here. Excellent capture showing details very sharply and the light yellow colour is very beautiful against the dark background. I have a book on Die Blumentwelt der Alpen by Herbert Reisigl where it states that it is protected and only found in the Alps and the Pyrenees. Very well observed and presented!

There is a wonderful calmness in this image...almost depressingly calm..not sure why it hits me this way...as I type I am wondering....was there some sadness in the environs...or in the area in some way which is shown here? It is a technically terrific shot with nice notes...I wonder...perhaps I will make it happy!

Your alpine region is truly rich in flora.
