Hallo Claude
What a lovely and slender built beetle. It looks as if it is wearing a tailor suite, almost like the kind the butlers wear. Trek Nature is the most educational and valuable way of discovering nature out there and there is no tutor fees involved. I cannot wait to find the time to look through the huge variety of excellent photos. A great shot, with clear and interesting details. This one reminds me a lot about my own "Cycad Hose Nose Weevil" that I posted not so long ago. I just love the hairy surface of the insect, and the segments the paws are divided into.The white of the daisy make a great backdrop. Thanks for sharing.

Je viens de voir ton excellente photo de ce petit coléoptère aux cuisses de sportif. Je l'ai déjà vu aussi et essayé de le photographier sans grand succès. Bravo, doublement, puisque tu as réussi de le photographier sur du blanc.
