Hi Claude

Is this what one can call a macro-close-up or is it a close-up-macro? Photographing the complete ladybird larva would have been a macro due to its size, but you bettered on that by doing a close-up within the macro scale.

This facial image of the larva is really immaculate on account of the following:
- Such natural impact (thanks to Claude + POV + DOF)
- Such excellent composition (thanks to Claude + imaginative cropping scissors).
- Such exceptional image (thanks to Canon EOS-1D Mark III + Canon MP-E 65mm f2.8 1-5x).
- Such amazing details (thanks to the range of the f/16 aperture).
- Such great lighting (thanks to the fill-in flash + exposure control; Av-f/16, Tv-1/128, ISO-100).
- Such genuine colours (thanks to Claude + PP on Imagerie numérique d'ACD Systems).

And so the list goes on. I just love it and it goes straight to my extended favourites.

Nous (anel; meyerd) avons fait une sortie à la Moosalp le week-end passé et j'ai été introduit dans la macro-photographie par mes deux amis de TN. C'est difficile...
