[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Better known backyard inhabitants:

This is the 7 mm long Hemp-nettle beetle (Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae; Diochrysa fastuosa; Ovaläugiger Blattkäfer) spending its whole life on Galeopsis tetrahit. Fortunately for them the weed is growing freely in my wilderness yard. Fortunately for me too, I now have a model to try my photographic skills.

Lieber Dieter,
Anne

Hi Dietrich!

First of all I like your title :-) Very metallic beetle with beautifull, shinning colours. Good 3D composition with leaves. Tiny heavy metal fan :-)

Hi Dietrich.
Outstanding picture of the most beautiful beetle. I am amazed a lot. Simply great subject at whole: fine beetle and very impressive leaves. Terrific sharpness and details of the insect, stunning colours, amazing lights and rich attractive shadows. Composition is superb. DOF is the best too. Bravo. Perfect work.
Alexei.

Hello Dietrich!
So metallic, so convex, so beautiful! Lovely capture of Chrysomelidae my Friend! Sharpness, details and DOF are very good! :)
TFS and all the best!
Radomir

PS. According to your question about polarized filter used in case of cliffes from Ireland - it allowed reduced glare from the water surface and also add more contrast between blue sky and white clouds :)

Una joya muy bien engarzada en su soporte !!!

Buenas luces y colores y unas complicadas texturas muy bien captadas.

Saludos.
