It is really beautiful, colourful moth. And I like so colourful BG very much too. Excellent combination of crisp sharp insect and wonderful perfectly smoothed BG. Lights are great as well as the diagonal structure of the image. Well done and my best regards.

erstklassige Auflösung bis auf das 'Schuppenniveau' ... und das bei diesem relativ kleinen Nachtfalter.
Die Farben sind natürlich wiedergegeben.
Die Darstellung des 'Mikros' gefällt mir außerordentlich gut!

Hello Dietrich,
An excellent close capture of P. aurata, not so common in Sweden and I have not photographed it yet. The use of flash has allowed superb DOF, sharpness and colours without producing the 'nigh-time' effect in capturing this day-flying Pyralid.
A very attractive image and thanks for sharing it!

Guten Abend Dieter,
mit den oft winzigen, doch oft auch sehr farbenfrohen Zünslern wollte ich mich auch schon näher beschäftigen, doch fehlt es mir an Literatur - und auch am Equipment, mit dem ich nahe genug ran kann.
Hier hast Du mit Deinem Präzisionsgerät wieder ganz hervorragende Arbeit geleistet. Die winzige Motte ist so detailreich, tiefenscharf, perfekt ausgeleuchtet abgebildet wie sonst Schmetterlinge ab gut 5cm Spannweite. Auch die Komposition ist edel und gekonnt.
Danke für die schöne und interessante Arbeit, und auch für die Nachschlagequelle!

Ich kann deinem Rhytmus kaum folgen, habe das Gleiche auch Anne gesagt... ich freue mich schon auf meine Pension!

Du hast in Photoshop ganze "Reparatur"-Arbeit gemacht, zunindest in dieser Grösse sieht man nichts. Gut, dass du es signalisiert und somit legitimiert hast. Das Bild ist wunderschön. Übrigens: seit ich dich und Anne kennen gelernt habe, bleibt ein Streifen in meinem Garten ungemäht. Er wird nächstes Jahr sicher noch breiter sein.

Agree with your title! Meadows are full of beautifull, small creatures like this one. Superb golden-red colours and patterns on its wings. Very nice POV. Blurred flowers on BG also look great.

Lieber Dieter,
Farblich sehr schönes Bild, gute Bildqualität und interessantes Thema. Die Zünsler scheinen noch nicht so gut erforscht zu sein. Diese Spezies hatte ich auch schon unter der Linse (im BOGA), aber eben auch verschwunden. Mein Bild hatte aber von Weitem nicht die Qualität dieses Bildes.
Noch etwas, ich habe immer gedacht, dass er auf Deutsch "Purpurzünsler" heisse.
