[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The 3rd image from the Swiss adventure was aken on the 1st evening shortly after arriving, I post it today because it is a rainy , cloudy day here in Winterthur so no good picy's sofar.

(Coreus marginatus) the Squash Bug is so named because in the USA it's favourite food is members of the squash family making it an agricultural pest. Here in europe it prefers mebers of the Rumex family like Dock and Rubarb.
It can be seen between April and October across the middle and south of europe, becoming uncommon in the cooler north. overwintering as adults it emerge on warm spring days. there is no larvel stage as the eggs hatch out as small bettles but with-out wings and go through several moults as they grow the last one revealing the wings, allowing them to spread out and find unrelated mates, so keeping the species strong by not interbreeding.

Very well done.

Robert,
The composition, DOP, color are very good.
I will have taken the shot a little bit more higher, in order to see the all head.
Laurent
