This is the partener of the duck I posted the other day The Red-Crested Pochard seen here on Lake Zurich . The only difference between the way I shot this was that I used maximum power on the in built flash to try and light her against the very strong day light. for more details about the species have a look at the RSPB web site.

Amazing colors on this pochard, Robert. Have never seen anything like that before. Beautiful duck that you have captured with sharp details and perfect exposure. I like the gorgeous brown color. Very unusual . Clear picture and excellent composition as well. Well done and TFS. : )

This duck didn't move her head as the details are razorsharp and the focus is great. Good colors and well composed. Well done & TFS!
